Biography
Prof. Dr. Fatma Paksoy Türköz is a medical oncology specialist currently practicing at Medical Park Göztepe Hospital on the Asian side of İstanbul. She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, one of Türkiye's oldest and most respected medical schools. Her broad clinical foundation was laid during her internal medicine residency at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, one of İstanbul's busiest and highest-volume training hospitals, where she gained extensive experience across a wide spectrum of internal medicine cases.
Following her internal medicine training, she completed her medical oncology fellowship at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital, a facility entirely dedicated to cancer diagnosis and treatment. Training at a specialized oncology hospital gave her deep, focused exposure to the full range of adult solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, as well as the multidisciplinary team approach that defines modern cancer care.
Now at Medical Park Göztepe, Prof. Dr. Türköz treats one of the widest ranges of cancers among the physicians in our network. Her particular strengths lie in breast cancer at all stages, lung cancer (both non-small cell and small cell), colorectal and gastric cancers, and gynecologic malignancies including ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers. She is known for her comprehensive approach to treatment planning and her commitment to patient education and shared decision-making.

This ensures that no treatment option is overlooked and that sequencing is optimized for each individual.

Before starting any treatment, she ensures patients and their families fully understand the diagnosis, the treatment options, expected outcomes, and potential side effects, empowering them to participate actively in decisions about their care.
