Biography
Prof. Dr. Fatih Selçukbiricik is a medical oncology specialist with over 19 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Koç University Hospital in İstanbul — one of Turkey's most advanced academic medical centers. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, followed by a medical oncology fellowship at Cerrahpaşa in 2005. His career has been defined by a commitment to lung cancer treatment and solid tumor management, progressing through academic ranks to reach the title of Professor.
His primary clinical focus is on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), where he applies the latest advances in molecular-targeted therapy and immunotherapy. He treats a broad range of other solid tumors as well, tailoring treatment strategies based on molecular profiling and current evidence. Prof. Dr. Selçukbiricik is actively involved in clinical trials and translational research, working to bring emerging therapies from the bench to the bedside for his patients.
His memberships in ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) and EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer) reflect his engagement with the international oncology research community.
